Francoise Uzamukunda

In November, we decided to recognize a student who is taking the initiative to practice her leadership skills at her university beyond the scope of ORI programs. Francoise Uzamukunda is entering her third year at the National University of Rwanda (NUR), where she studies in the department of Languages, Linguistics and Literature. Francoise serves as the student representative to NUR's Faculty of Arts, Media and Social Sciences; she's the secretary of NUR's Assembly of Students' Representatives; and she's also a member of NUR's chapter of the Red Cross. Recently, she was chosen to participate in a review of the Internal Rules of the NUR Student Body.

Francoise's extracurricular activities are incredibly impressive and set a great example for our newest students. Please join us in congratulating Francoise!
